NatWest Accelerator
My fulltime gig. My 9-5 Monday - Friday. The dream job I never knew existed until I landed it.
When I scaled and exited my flagship business at the end of 2017 I retired for a whole three days before reaching out to my networks to explore my next chapter (while I learned fast about property renovations). Skip a few steps I was introduced to the NatWest Accelerator hub in my local town and joined them as a business coach.
3000 hours of 121 scale up support later I was promoted to a local, and then regional manager; heading up enterprise activity across the Midlands & East of England to support SMEs to start or scale their business, working with incredible ecosystem partners and business support organisations to help our entrepreneurs to flourish.
Absolutely everything offered by NatWest Accelerator is free- fully funded by NatWest - and accessible to all, even if you bank elsewhere. It’s one of the things I really love about this purpose led organisation. It’s inclusive, it truly champions people and encourages them to thrive.
There’s three main ways to connect;
Apply for the Accelerator; a six month programme that includes coaching (121 and peer to peer), workshops, access to mentors, use of co-shared workspace, event space, pop up shop area (or an entirely digital journey) that you can join up to 3 times (so a maximum of 18 months of support) before you become an alumni.
Join our ‘open to all’ events, simply ‘follow the organiser’ here on eventbrite to be alerted when new events are added here.
Self serve content 24/7 from www.natwestbusinessbuilder.com - an online portal of videos, events, workbooks, articles and inspirational case studies.
Not to mention the incredible gigs they ask me to get involved with; podcasts, keynote and panel appearances and hosting phenomenally inspirational speakers I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing for our #AnAudienceWith series.
